Training And Lessons

Clients have the piece of mind that Stickney Riding Centre is fully insured and 5* licenced by the local Council. Additionally as an Accredited Professional Coach with The British Horse Society I have freelance insurance as well as certificates in First Aid and Child Protection and have undergone a DBS check.

Your first lesson will be a private lesson to assess current knowledge levels or teach you the basics if a complete beginner. Lessons thereafter can be either private or group, lead rein, on the lunge, flatwork, jumping or stable management.

When teaching I put great emphasis on developing a correct position, independent seat and making riders aware of how their actions influence a horse.  I aim to help horse and rider achieve suppleness, rhythm and balance whilst working together in harmony.  I also specialize in helping nervous riders regain their confidence and enjoyment of riding.

As I am an Accredited Professional Coach with the British Horse Society, I can offer clients that have their own horses lessons either at the Riding Centre or at their own property, along with offering the BHS Challenge Awards courses.

Please note that I operate a cancellation policy.  If a lesson is canceled over 24 hours before the lesson is due to take place there shall be no cancellation fee.  However if the lesson is canceled within the 24 hour period before the lesson then full lesson price cancellation fee may apply.  Circumstances will be taken into consideration.
